Wow, I really haven't been here in a while! Sorry everyone! Things have been pretty crazy with us. For one thing, we MOVED! It's not been easy, but I think I'm starting to get used to it. Remember how excited I was to get glasses? Well, I'm not used to wearing them all the time, and I ended up packing them for the big move, and guess what got lost? Yep. My glasses have disappeared. We're still looking, but we might have to give up and replace them pretty soon. I can still do most things without them, but looking at the board at school is a huge pain! I tried a pair of my brother's old ones, but they are just way too big for my face! Heather says I'm much crankier since I managed to lose them, and I think she's right. Keep your fingers crossed for me finding them, okay?
The good news is that now that we've finally gotten settled in, it's time to start thinking about dogs! Kelsey and I are the only ones in the family who hadn't gotten pets of our own yet. My brother said he really wanted us to think about what sort of pet we wanted. We have, hang on, let me count, 8 dogs, a guinea pig, and a llama right now. This is most of them:
Left to right: Scout (Josh's Bernese Mountain Dog), Griffey (Alison's Westie), Wobbly (Rachel's llama), Snowball (Heather's husky mix), Cookie (Amy's border collie mix), Scotty (Kit's Scottish terrier), Lily (Ryan's Maltese mix), and Coconut (Kit's Westie).
You might have noticed that that's only 7 doggies. That's because the 8th one is our new foster dog. She's a golden retriever mix, and she might be staying on and be MY dog, but I don't know yet! She's not really ours right now, so I am almost afraid to give her a new name. I'm not ready to show you a picture of her yet, either. We are supposed to go see a 6 month old labradoodle puppy pretty soon, too. If that works out, that might be Kelsey's dog. Here's a picture of him from the rescue:

We were also talking to another rescue that has a few lab puppies, with the idea of getting one for me and one for Kelse, but now I'm not sure. I know my brother doesn't want a repeat of what happened with Kit (she has TWO dogs of her very own). We already have so many critters, I know (but we have the space for more!), and I would love to have TWO! I know Kelsey feels the same way. She had pretty much decided on finding a lab, but then the labradoodle came up first, and he needs a home. This feels like a huge decision. How did you choose your pets?
